Throwback Thursday: Cherishing Memories and Digitized Moments

Throwback Thursday: Cherishing Memories and Digitized Moments

Oh boy, am I so thankful for this little corner of the internet and all the updates I’ve shared here through the years. Even though I lost a huge chunk of my content when I switched hosts back in 2012, I’m still so grateful for the memories I managed to preserve.

Being able to look back at certain photos from my childhood and have them digitized makes my heart so happy. There's something magical about revisiting these snapshots of the past—each one tells a story, brings back a smile, or reminds me of a simpler time.

So, without further ado, here’s my first Throwback Thursday post of the year: a randomly curated collection of moments that hold a special place in my heart.

Daniel's and I first Thanksgiving together as a couple. ♡ 2017

My buddy Nash, my best friend. Christmas 2017

Lia loved her My little Pony collection and used to gather them up for meetings... 2017

My little sunshine Lyla, rip my beautiful kitten. 2018

Shopping in Park City for back to school. Lia shopped til she dropped. 2018

When I used to do my makeup everyday and took lots or selfies. 2018

I can always appreciate a good mural. Salt Lake is full of colorful ones. Here is a list with my favorite graffiti murals in SLC.

My bestie Sarah and I and one of our favorite wines! This was before my GERD took over and unfortunately I can't drink wine anymore...

Why Digitizing Memories Matters

One of the best decisions I’ve made is digitizing old photos. Not only does it preserve them for years to come, but it also makes sharing these memories with family and friends so much easier. If you haven’t done it yet, I highly recommend scanning your old photos—it’s a game changer.

To make things even easier, I’m currently using Google One to automatically back up my photos online. For just $9.99 a month, I get 2 terabytes of storage, which is perfect for a content creator like me. If you don’t need that much space, Google One also offers cheaper plans for less storage, so there’s an option for everyone. It’s an affordable and reliable way to ensure your memories are always safe and accessible. (Not sponsored)

Your Turn!

What are some of your favorite throwback moments? Do you have old photos that bring back amazing memories? I’d love to hear about them in the comments or see your own #ThrowbackThursday posts!

Let’s kick off the year by celebrating the moments that make us smile!
